Principles & Purposes

St. Lawrence District

UUA

Unitarian Universalist Association (UUA)

The Unitarian Universalist Association devotes its resources to and exercise its corporate powers for religious, educational and humanitarian purposes. The primary purpose of the Association is to serve the needs of its member congregations, organize new congregations, extend and strengthen Unitarian Universalist institutions and implement its principles. The UUA's web site has many, many resources: the UUA bookstore, directory of UU congregations and districts, information about the annual General Assembly, and links to many web sites dedicated to religious and justice issues.

St. Lawrence District (SLD)

There are twenty-one Districts of the UUA in North America (see map). The mission of the UUA Districts is to serve as a resource for local congregations and to help extend Unitarian Universalist influence in the larger community. The offices of the St. Lawrence District are located in Buffalo, NY. Connie Goodbread is our Interim District Executive. Here are our other district representatives.

Central East Regional Group (CERG)

The Central East Regional Group consists of four districts ~ Joseph Priestley, Metro New York, Ohio-Meadville, and St. Lawrence ~ of the Unitarian Universalist Assocation who are working together to share programming resources with each other.
