Peace, Justice, & Sustainability Film Series: What Would Jesus Buy?

Friday, September 16, refreshments at 6:30, film at 7:00 PM in the Social Hall. What Would Jesus Buy is a docu-comedy about the commercialization and over-consumption of Christmas. The film follows Rev. Billy Graham and his Church of Stop Shopping Gospel Choir in their attempts to per- suade people to buy fewer Christmas presents or find other ways to stop over-consumerism at Christmas. The producer is Morgan Spurlock of Super Size Me fame. It’s a fun film that makes serious points in humorous ways.
